What is CozyHarbor?
CozyHarbor is an independent home & family publication. We write practical guides, checklists and free planning tools to help households run more comfortably and affordably.
Is CozyHarbor a government agency or assistance provider?
No. CozyHarbor is not a government agency, financial institution, or assistance provider. We explain how public and community programs generally work and link to official sources, but we don't determine eligibility, process applications, or guarantee any outcome.
Do I need to sign up to use the guides and tools?
No. Every article and tool is free and open to everyone. Signing up for text messages is entirely optional.
Where is the data I type into the tools stored?
Only in your own browser. The Budget Planner, Grocery Tracker, Seasonal Checklist and Weekly Planner save to your device's local storage and never send your entries to CozyHarbor.
What text messages can I sign up for?
CozyHarbor Updates has two separate, optional message types. Informational/account texts: sign-up confirmations, subscription preference updates, alerts about guides you request. Marketing texts: featured household guides, seasonal home and budgeting tips, new free planning tools. Each has its own unchecked box on the sign-up form — choose either, both, or neither.
How often will I get texts, and do they cost anything?
Message frequency varies. CozyHarbor doesn't charge for texts, but message and data rates may apply from your carrier.
How do I stop text messages?
Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will get one confirmation and no further messages. Reply HELP for help.
Will you share my phone number?
No. We do not sell or share your mobile number or opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How can I suggest a topic or report an error?
Use our contact form — we read every message and update guides when something changes.
